It has been averred in the recent days that the Dansk Beredskabskommunikation A/S, a subsidiary of Motorola, has been selected by the Danish Government as the most favored supplier for a nationwide public safety communications service. It has also been announced in this regard that the 10-year 'build-own-operate' contract is worth something like 1.6bn DKK (US $289m).

Motorola is renowned throughout the world for its innovative techniques and leadership in wireless and broadband communications. Being inspired by the vision of Seamless Mobility, the name of Motorola has become synonymous to get and stay connected simply and seamlessly to the people, information, and entertainment. There is also the relevant info that for making it certain that innovative network in due course will come across user requirements sufficient measures have been taken in close cooperation with representatives from future user groups.
 
While speaking on the occasion Henrik Pinholt, the Director of the Danish Agency for Governmental Management said, "We've learned from other countries that the implementation of a shared public safety network is an extremely complex task. The dialog with users during the implementation process is a prerequisite for success," "We are pleased to have completed the tender process and to have implementation of the shared network underway," he said.
