It has been reported that the Circuit City Stores, Inc., the leading specialty retailer of consumer electronics and related services through the introduction of the Circuit City World Cyber Games Mobile Tour will render the hometown owners with a final chance for the competition of the 56 "wildcard" spots. It has also been announced on the par of the Company that there shall also be a possibility to get qualified for the proficient competitors to qualify for e- Sports' largest and most prestigious video game tournament.

In addition, the champs from the Circuit City contests will be unable to go for the competition in one of four World Cyber Games (WCG) Regional Qualifying tournaments. It is to be noted, that the specific category of the other contestants in the Regional Qualifying tournaments has already been chosen through the online competitions.
