It has been announced by the renowned Friendly Ice Cream Corporation that it has incurred a noble achievement through winning the first position in Restaurant Hospitality's hotly contested annual competition for kids menus by virtue of its My Friendly's/My Meals Kids Menus introduced by the Friendly's Restaurants on the previous year. It has been stated by the Company that from its first preamble in July 2006, the Friendly's new kids menu has been the winner in the family restaurant category of the magazine's 14th annual competition. Friendly Ice Cream Corporation is a renowned integrated restaurant company serving signature sandwiches, entrees and ice cream desserts in a friendly, family environment in more than 510 companies and franchised restaurants throughout the Northeast. From its commencement 71 years back Friendly's has been continuing with strong brand recognition and at present is revitalizing its restaurants with the introduction of new products to grow its customer base. The company is also engaged in the manufacturing of ice cream, which is distributed through more than 4,000 supermarkets and other retail locations.
It has been found, that Friendly's spectacular exodus from the traditional approaches to kids menus enhanced the sales graph by 7.2% in the first seven months in the following months of the menu's introduction. According to them, that the keys to success initiated with the self-standing menu's big, bold triangular silhouette that is suggestive of a puzzle and just begs to be opened. Speaking on the occasion, Nancy Polak, the Marketing Manager for Friendly's said, "This is the third time that Friendly's has won this award for having the best kids menu of any family restaurant, and we're extremely proud. To win this award from among so many excellent competitors demanded that we listen to our younger customers and respond to their needs with creativity and innovation. It was a true team effort." He also said, "Older kids can feel comfortable ordering from the smaller appetites section of the menu. It doesn't mean they're 'babies,' it just means they're not famished that day. "We know that parents also appreciate the difference in portion size -- and price -- that goes with each menu section," he concluded.
