Friendly's Restaurants of the Friendly Ice Cream Corporation today announced here through a gala celebration of the inauguration of a new franchised restaurant in Newton, New Jersey located on Route 206 at the Sussex County Mall. It has been stated, that being a part of its drive to expand the flourishing and expanding business of Restaurants there shall be more openings of outlets in the coming days and the hours of operation of the present store shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. throughout the seven days of the week.

Friendly Ice Cream Corporation is a renowned integrated restaurant company serving signature sandwiches, entrees and ice cream desserts in a friendly, family environment in more than 510 companies and franchised restaurants throughout the Northeast. From its commencement 71 years back Friendly's has been continuing with strong brand recognition and at present is revitalizing its restaurants with the introduction of new products to grow its customer base. The company is also engaged in the manufacturing of ice cream, which is distributed through more than 4,000 supermarkets and other retail locations.

It has been found that the restaurant is owned by Frankly Foods, LLC of Lafayette New Jersey. The owner Frank Negri, when contacted said,   "This is the first Friendly's in Sussex County. We look forward to serving some great food and ice cream to the people in the area. We also look forward to becoming involved in the community and have already been involved in a fundraiser for the Hampton Fire Department raising over one thousand dollars." It has been stressed or made known that there shall be the presence of lot of entertainments in order to gratify the changing mood of the general audience or the regular visitors to the restaurants. They shall be able to have at the Newton Friendly's some old-time favorites of the Friendly's like the once famous Big Beef® Burgers or Fribble®s or even the new Southwest Chipotle Chicken Strips Basket. The guests if they need can also top off their meal with a sundae from the mouth-watering ice cream menu, that consists of the scrumptious Reese's Peanut Butter Cup™ Sundae or the new Forbidden Fudge Brownie Sundae.
