Friendly's Restaurant Sets Off In Phillipsburg

Friendly's Restaurants of the Friendly Ice Cream Corporation today announced here while celebrating the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Phillipsburg, New Jersey located on Route 22 East, in front of the Phillipsburg Mall. It has been also announced by the Company that the restaurant shall remain opened on Monday, May 14, 2007. The hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Friendly Ice Cream Corporation is a renowned integrated restaurant company serving signature sandwiches, entrees and ice cream desserts in a friendly, family environment in more than 510 companies and franchised restaurants throughout the Northeast. From its commencement 71 years back Friendly’s has been continuing with strong brand recognition and at present is revitalizing its restaurants with the introduction of new products to grow its customer base. The company is also engaged in the manufacturing of ice cream, which is distributed through more than 4,000 supermarkets and other retail locations.

It has been acknowledged that the restaurant is owned by Revere Restaurant Group, Incorporated. While being questioned by the newsmen Bob Bender the owner of the Restaurant Group said, “This is our first restaurant in New Jersey so we are excited to be serving the people in this area. The restaurant is located in front of the mall so we welcome all mall shoppers to come in and enjoy some delicious food and ice cream before or after shopping.”

While having a small round the posh infrastructure of the restaurant came to notice. In such a nicely decorated manner, the guests at the Philipsburg Friendly’s can enjoy some old-time Friendly’s favorites like Big Beef®s or Fribble®s or try one of the new delicious burgers, that include the new Chicago Firehouse Burger, Honey BBQ Burger or the Tomato Pesto Provolone Burger. The Company has also assured that the guests can also top off their meal with a sundae from the mouth-watering ice cream menu, the delicious Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup™ Sundae or the new Forbidden Fudge Brownie Sundae.

When asked about the ready prospects James Sullivan, the Vice President, Franchising, for Friendly’s Restaurants said, “Bob has a passion for the Friendly’s brand. Bob owns and operates 11 other Friendly’s restaurants, six of which are in Lehigh Valley, so he knows the business and is very familiar with the area.“
