Friendly Ice Cream Corporation today announced here the results of its 26th annual 'Cones for Kids' Valentine's Day fundraiser to benefit Easter Seals. It has been informed, since the conclusion of last year's campaign, Friendly's has raised $1.16 million with the aim of helping children and adults suffering from disabilities, exceeding 2006 results by 14 percent. In addition, most dollars were raised during 'Cones for Kids', with donations being generated during the two FREE kid meal promotions. This year's success brings Friendly's overall total raised for Easter Seals to more than $24.5 million since 1981, confirmed by the Company itself.

Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical and mental disabilities, and other special needs functioning for the last 85 years at a stretch.
